Meet Dany Rojas: December's MVP

Updated: Jan 25

Tell us who you are, where you are from, and how you serve at Hope for Miami?

My name is Dany Rojas. I am Cuban, I live in Miami, and I serve as the Delivery Coordinator and Warehouse Manager.

How do you think your skills/gifts, knowledge and interests equip you to do your tasks?

With my knowledge, skills and experience, I always try to achieve the best result in my work by contributing everything I can to achieve the goal of helping families in our communities.

What’s one aspect of Hope for Miami’s work that most encourages and motivates you?

For me, the most important quality of Hope for Miami is the unconditional desire to help the families most in need in our city. I’m very happy and grateful, from the heart, with our whole team.

Tell us something interesting about yourself to help us get to know you better.

I consider myself a humble and simple person, two qualities I believe are very important for individuals. I have two daughters that I adore and also, I really like children.

(Note: Mr. Rojas is a recent staff member at Hope for Miami, as he started with our agency in October. This is the first time that a recently hired employee has been nominated by their peers for the MVP award.)
