After Marquia Maycock Robinson graduated from the University of Florida and came back home to Miami in 2012, she was looking for a volunteer position with a non-profit organization. Little did she know, a full-time position was available at Hope for Miami. As she joined the team, over the years, she accepted roles with increasing responsibilities and earned a Master's in Public Administration from Nova University. Then life took a turn when she and her husband moved to the Atlanta area, where she acquired additional skills in non-profit management through organizations working in public health, health equity, re-entry services, and mental health. As her family relocated back to South Florida in 2024, she returned to Hope for Miami as the Director of Community Services programs. In April of this year, our CEO promoted her to Chief Operating Officer in recognition of her skills, expertise, and service to Hope for Miami. Congratulations, Marquia!
