Red Ribbon Week at SLAM
As part of Red Ribbon Week, preventing substance use and promoting good health in our youth was the focus and goal of the “Communities Talk” event at the Sports Leadership and Management Academy (SLAM) in Little Havana. His peers selected Markaly Avril as the latest Most Valuable Player at Hope for Miami for his excellent attitude and helpfulness. Mark has been part of the Ready4Life team since he started with us in September 2023 and has nearly completed his Master of Science in Public Health from George Washington University. Hope for Miami is pleased to announce the unanimous appointment by the Board of Directors of Marquia Robinson as the new Chief Executive Officer.
