As a part of her professional development at Hope for Miami, Hayly Ojeda attended the National Council for Mental Wellbeing Conference (NATCON) on behalf of her program, Project Bridge. Here’s what she had to say about the experience:
“For four days, I gained valuable insight from behavioral health professionals to enhance the services that Project Bridge provides to our community. This experience deepened my understanding of key needs within our communities and introduced me to evidence-based models that could support the future growth of our program. One of the biggest takeaways was that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to supporting mental well-being. Learning from a wide range of perspectives and professional roles emphasized the importance of collaboration and innovation in serving diverse communities like Miami.”
