I was born in Cuba and after living four years in New Jersey, my mom and I moved to Miami. I’ve been part of Hope for Miami for five years. My primary work is in the areas of administration for our afterschool and summer camp program and HR department and as receptionist. As far as my family, my son and daughter-in-law live here in Miami. Last year, we welcomed their now 5-month-old son Oliver into our lives! I also have my nephew, his wife and grandnieces who live in North Carolina.

I'm originally from Montana and grew up on the farm where my dad was born and went to the same school all 12 years. When I married, we moved to Miami Springs. I worked many years at a CPA firm and later, AARP connected me with Hope For Miami. I’ve been here since 2011, involved in administrative duties and greeting folks when they call the office. When they say things are meant to be, this could've never been a better place to come to work for!
I have two sons who both graduated from Miami Springs High. One lives in Orlando with his wife, an FIU grad, and son who attended UCF. My other son lives in Oregon.

I was born here in Miami. Both of my parents are South Florida natives as well. I joined the team in July 2019. It’s my responsibility to ensure all participant data for our Out-of-Schools department is collected and accurately submitted to our funder on time. As for my wonderful family, I’ve been married to my husband for 22 years, a military veteran. And I’m the proud mom of three. A 2022 F.I.U. Graduate. A high school sophomore, and a senior, both Cambridge Global Studies Magnet students. And, a dog mom to a beautiful 2-year-old rottweiler !

I’m originally from a small town in Spain and knew of South Florida from my traveling. Then, I accepted a job and moved here. My first involvement at HFM was as a volunteer through AARP. Then I joined the HFM staff in 2018 and I've enjoyed it very much. I support our staff by providing information about our after school and summer camp programs, various other administration tasks and receiving calls here at our office. We have a very close family. My wife and I have been married for 45 years and our two sons have professional careers, having studied at local universities in South Florida.
