Every Day is Father’s Day

As I sit here thinking of this Father's Day message, I hope that as you read this, you've discovered your 10% in all the incredible moments life offers us and those around us. This weekend can be a joyous occasion or a day of reflection that may bring some pain. We pray for healing if you are reflecting.

At Hope for Miami, we celebrate fathers this weekend! As a proud dad of three wonderful kids ages 24, 20, and 18, I cherish being called "Dad" by them. Additionally, I have a truly exceptional young man in Atlanta whom I consider a son, and witnessing him and my children grow has been one of life's greatest privileges. You can't put a price on these priceless moments and blessings.

To fully embrace these moments, we must be present as fathers. We must be more than present physically and engage actively and wholeheartedly. So, what does being actively engaged look like? It means we provide unwavering guidance, immeasurable support, and abundant love while helping them navigate life's many exciting opportunities. We should actively focus on their needs, interests, and experiences, striving to create strong bonds built on trust and love through genuine human connection. Let us assume our role and seize the opportunity to inspire HOPE in those who depend on us.
