We pray for each of you and the community you call home. Today, I would like to share a few words to allow for reflection and hopefully some encouragement in this ever-changing environment.
In a recent staff meeting, we discussed the principle: “It is useless to water fake flowers as they will never bloom and grow.” Each of us has real flowers: relationships, employment opportunities, skills, habits, and choices. We sometimes spend so much energy trying to make magic happen that we forget the importance of growth and the satisfaction and joy that it brings.
So today and every day, I encourage you to find joy in what matters most to you: the satisfaction of watching your children grow, the anticipation of watching your garden grow, the feeling of accomplishment from watching those you lead grow, the feeling of love from watching your relationships grow, the feeling of humility watching your why and blessings grow. Find the joy!
The joy in you and what surrounds you starts with looking within and finding your why. But don't be content with merely finding it; share your why with others and the joy it brings. Because when you share your why through love and joy, what else is there?
Peace and Blessings!
Mr. J Martinez, CEO
