Award Presenters

At this year’s Starlit Gatsby Gala, Hope for Miami will present awards to individuals in the community who exemplify service and commitment to make Miami a better place. We have now selected three outstanding community leaders to present these awards to, who will be recognized on October 4th at our event at The Biltmore Hotel. 

To present these awards, we have Vice-Chair of Miami Dade County Board of County Commissioners, Kionne McGhee, Da-Venya Armstrong, President and CEO of Armstrong Creative Consulting (ACC), and Rosi Rosell, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Calle Ocho News. Come celebrate with Hope for Miami and hear what these outstanding individuals have to say about the winners of the Sawyer Legacy Award, the Adult Community Thread Award, and the Youth Community Thread Award.
