Announcing Our Gala Emcee and DJ!

You won’t want to miss our special Hope for Miami 2025 Gala at the Biltmore Hotel on October 4th, as Emmy-award-winning journalist and television personality Johanna Gomez has agreed to be our Emcee and host for the evening. You’ll also be dancing the night away as DJ Cardi, Miami’s premier DJ/Producer, will be spinning the turn tables with music you’ll enjoy the whole night.

Johanna Gomez is a familiar face on local Miami TV serving nine years as co-host and reporter for NBC 6, and five years as an anchor for WPLG Local 10. You have likely heard her voice as a Miami HEAT sideline reporter and with the Miami Marlins at home games. She is also currently with Power 96 as the mid-day host. 

​​DJ Cardi is Miami’s premier DJ/ Producer known for his signature sound. Cardi’s ability to connect with his audience had him performing at high-profile events like the Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Pegasus World Cup, the Miami Open, and the pre-games for the Miami Heat. He’s held down residencies at world-class resorts like The Cove Atlantis (Bahamas), the Faena, and the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach. He also sets the stage for star-studded movie premieres at Sundance, Cannes, and the Toronto International Film Festival every year.
