September is National Youth Suicide Prevention Month, and Hope for Miami’s Project Bridge program aims to prevent youth suicide by providing Youth Mental Health First Aid (to adults) and Teen Mental Health First Aid (to high school students). Project Bridge makes sure that our community knows when and how to help a youth who is struggling with thoughts of suicide, through our curriculum. Project Bridge can bring either of these evidence-based curricula to your school or youth center. We also frequently offer open-to-the-public training for parents and youth workers who aren’t connected to one of our partners. If you are interested, please contact Hayly Ojeda at hayly@hopeformiami.org or call our main office at 786-388-3000.
