Since 1999, Hope for Miami has grown into a community organization serving children, youth, and families through partnerships with churches, schools, and local groups. Through these programs, we are helping build positive,
healthy futures:

Kidz2Success Enrichment: Grades 6–12 (youth with disabilities)
Prevention Education

Project U-Turn: Healthy relationships & teen pregnancy/STI prevention (6th–12th grade).

Compass: Supports youth in developing the skills to make healthy, positive choices.

Triumph: Helps Miami-Dade youth develop habits for success and avoid risky behaviors through prevention-focused programs.
Community Programs

Coalición Esperanza: Anti-drug coalition in Flagami and Little Havana.

MenUp: Parent workshops and fatherhood mentorship.

Project Bridge: Mental health awareness training.

NeighborNet: Community events providing food, supplies, and resources.

During the third week in November is Give Miami Day season, sponsored by the Miami Foundation, to encourage support for charities in Miami. Hope for Miami has been a participant since the foundation’s inception. During the six days of Give Miami Day, Hope for Miami will participate in several events where our supporters are encouraged to join.

We invite you to join us at The Give Miami Day 5K Race + Festival held at Maurice A. Ferré Park. You can run/walk with our Hope for Miami team, sponsor a participant, or just show up and enjoy the festival.
The festival will be free and will include activities for the whole family.
JohnMartin’s pub in Coral Gables is spotlighting Hope for Miami with a special fundraising event starting at 5 PM. They have created a signature cocktail and a mocktail just for Hope for Miami to help raise funds for our organization. Please RSVP to attend this event and show your support. Proceeds will be added to our Give Miami Day total.

Thursday, November 20, is the BIG DAY - the culmination of Give Miami Day! The Miami Foundation has raised matching funds through various partners so that for every unique donation of at least $25 made on Give Miami Day, the donor will receive a $25 match, up to a maximum of 40 donors per non-profit, which enables organizations like Hope for Miami to earn additional funds. So we invite you to be a "thread" this Give Miami Day. Together, your threads (gifts, talents, resources) can make a significant impact on the families and communities that Hope for Miami serves. Please consider giving and sharing with your network.
